STEPHANIE OLIGER
Director of Film & Media
Stephanie is a creative professional who specializes in many areas of marketing. Her specialty areas include project management, branding, film production, social media, and content creation. After receiving her BA in Communication and Media Arts from Montclair State University, she has had a passion for bringing a brand’s story to life through visuals, experiences, and campaigns that capture the essence of the company and its audience. With a background in film production, Stephanie is able to direct the story of a brand in a unique and captivating way that resonates with an audience. She has created many successful campaigns for her clients that are timely, creative, and impactful. Stephanie is a proven leader in client relations and team management. She has extensive experience in guiding her teams to successful completion of projects.
Joe Frey
Senior Sales Marketing Consultant
Joe comes to the table with a plethora of corporate sales, marketing and graphic design experience. His appetite for finding the perfect typography and/or color palette to create something unique; fuels his love for graphic design. Fresh out of college he worked for a non-profit at the collegiate level as an SID. In his mid-20’s he pursued his childhood dream as a singer/songwriter. He was featured on national television and opened for several Grammy nominated artists on tour. Through all that he managed to squeeze in seven years of navigating the rough seas of the telecom sales world to refine his sales skills. He now resides in his 1930’s Vermont home that’s in an endless state of renovation with his wife, Sara, and their four children.
Joel Rousseau

Joel Rousseau grew up in the shadow of Mt. Monadnock in Jaffrey, New Hampshire where he picked up a love for the outdoors, making music, and cooking. A life-long devotee of the arts, Joel moved to Nashville, TN in 2014 and has worn many hats including writer, composer, performer, music producer, and audio engineer. He now lives in a 30-foot Airstream trailer with his wife Jessica and their dog Hopper as they attempt to visit all of America’s National Parks. On any given day you may find him reading a book out in front of that Airstream anyplace in North or Central America.
Leann coyle

Leann is an internationally based Director of Engagement who has background in digital marketing, blog development and social media strategy. A “Swiss-army knife” if you will, Leann has used her range of skills to implement and create content to help clients develop their brand and voice in the market. At Matte Olive, she now drives engagement and growth for all things social.
Aaron Frey
Founder | CEO
Aaron’s experience in design, dev, and marketing has taught him the importance of a macro approach to strategy where all those elements work together in one ecosystem. While growing up dreaming of inventing things, he grew to love challenges and was fueled by the curiosity to learn more. His early career was a mix of roles at startups in tech and marketing, freelance, then the launch of Frey Brothers Media. After running FBM for 10+ years Aaron rebranded the agency to Matte Olive. Over the last 13 years Aaron has successfully ran campaigns for businesses of all sizes from local shops to international brands. Aaron’s vision for Matte Olive is to meet brands where they are at and help them along on their journey.
